Like every other pessimistic England fan out there I wasn’t looking forward to seeing Roy Hodgson’s non-existent brand of football being played in Brazil to begin with, but to make matters worse we’ve been put into a group with arguably the greatest Uruguayan striker that’s ever lived in Luis Suarez and the mere 4 time World Cup winners Italy, let’s hope we can beat Costa Rica though, aye?

Here at Xtreme Vortex we’ve come up with a Football Themed Activities that hopefully, just hopefully, will distract you from yet another dismal World Cup display. Our World Cup Themed Events package is perfect for various types of football themed events such as Team building; corporate away days and Family fun days, with a wide variety of activities for all ages.

Activities that would be perfect for a football event theme include:

Human Table football

A life size version of Table football that can be played with up to five players per team, the perfect way to show Rooney and Co how to really do it!

Bungee football

The beautiful game but with a twist, the game is played inside our Inflatable Sports Arena and has 2 players per team trying to score in the opposition’s goal, whilst constantly being pulled back by a bungee cord.

Air Football

An inflatable football game for all ages played by hand. The game can be played with up to six people (3-aside) with one person assuming the role of the goalkeeper, one as a defender and one as a striker. Players must use the air filled cones provided to score in the opposition’s goal.

Football Side Stall Games.

A football twist on our traditional Side Stall Games. Choose from games such as Feed the Goalie and Lasso the Referee.

Indoor Team Building Event

Housing Association Team Building Day in Kent Indoor Team Building Event In late November we held a team building day for a housing association with of over 200 members of staff from all ends of the business. The objectives of the day were to create a fun atmosphere with the usual light hearted (or not so light hearted) competition. This included a variety of activities such as our Laser Tag arena, Team Building Puzzles, Bungee Basketball, Scalextric Racing, Pit Stop Challenge and Bungee Run, which the participants enjoyed thoroughly. The activities were integrated in a way that all staff members could get involved with some being physical activities while other being more about planning and strategy. The event was held at a beautiful venue in Kent and given the time of year, it was the perfect venue for such a day as the majority of activities were situated indoors.
